Very disapointed with MLB

I just got off the phone with MLB mobile support and was informed they will not be supporting BlackBerry devices this year. I really enjoyed the MLB@Bat app in the past and will miss it.

Hey, this is another example where customer service agents don't get the information needed to answer questions like this. MLB @Bat is already confirmed to be coming to BlackBerry 10.

Thank you, but the only problem with that is those of us who won't have a BB10 device until late in the year due to contracts.

I'm hoping that like last year they release MLB@Bat after they get inundated with calls from unhappy fans.

The the left hand (Customer Service) should really be more coordinated with the right hand (MLB @Bat). But I guess like a lot of CS's, they can be wankers.

MLB@Bat app lets you listen to the games. For those of us who no longer live where our favorite team is located it gives us the opportunity to enjoy them.

I know that's been said, that they will support BB10. In fact, some version of the MLB At Bat app has come to BB, usually late, and has not had video for at least 2 years after having lots of trouble in the first year of launch. So I expect that some version of MLB At Bat 13 will come to BB10.

I am a baseball fanatic and love the At Bat app with video it's absolutely tremendous and I was overjoyed to at least believe it could come to BB this year.

Now like the OP if you go to this page ( Watch Live Baseball Online, Stream MLB Games with MLB.TV | MLB.com: Subscriptions ) what do you read? iOS and Android supported in all ways. As to the others....

The At Bat 13 offer is available on supported iOS and Android devices only. MLB.TV Premium is not available on Windows Phone devices or Blackberry.

Now something doesn't jibe here. Look at that page and show me any BB10 love at all....So MLB "knows" they are supporting BB10, they know baseball fans have BB's (they hear from us every year) and yet they can't even say "and coming to BB10 devices soon..."

A pox on somebody's house. This is a big one for me.

If you buy the video package now there is a small savings to be had. I buy the service every year and they hit my credit card today as a matter of fact!

I just cancelled my MLB.TV automatic renewal subscription util the MLB At Bat app for BB10 is released, and the live streaming of games is also confirmed through the app

MLB has explicitly stated that At Bat 13 will be available for BB10 on Opening Day. Does Selig need to call you up personally to convince you?

lets clear this up.... MLB at bat WILL BE AVAILABLE BY OPENING DAY. this has been confirmed. IT WILL NOT LINK WITH YOUR MLB.TV subscription to provide live viewing. THIS IS THE SAME as every other year. YOu will get pitch by pitch location, live radio from both teams, schedule, news, video highlights, alerts etc. The only difference between this and the iphone version is the MLB.TV feature (which is $100 anyways)

The issue is, though, as the At Bat 2013 offer is not available on BlackBerry, will MLBTV subscribers have to pay for At Bat on the Z10? In which case sideloading At Bat lite might be a better/cheaper option.

What I would like, what stabstabdie said he would like. What we start a thread here every year because there are a lot of baseball fans here including I think fellow Mets fan Chris U (?) who would like the video to come. The android app came out today, looks like they put some work into it it's very nice and it includes (as usual) ...

I can't understand the difficulty in creating MLB at Bat 13 for OS 7 and perhaps 6, at least for radio. It worked perfectly fine last year. I'd be happy to re-up with the exact same features. Very disappointing.

It WILL have the exact same feature as previous years. Everything but mlb tv

stabstabdie, I must be missing something. Other than the BB10 news, none of the MLB press releases indicate that At Bat 13 will be supported on existing BB's (or Windows Phone for that matter). Is your point that they have said the same in past years, but it's eventually released for current BB's? Thanks.
