So Alec was asked directly about Instagram on BB10 and his tweet response was "I can't talk about individual apps, unless the owner has made an announcement. Sorry!".

I think this is a promising response and might explain why we haven't heard anything about Instagram, WhatsApp, Skype etc.

Suffice to say, they know just how much we want them so I'm hoping the reason we've heard so little is because RIM can't say / announce anything about them YET.
