So I'm getting alerted everytime an NFL player goes off the field on a stretcher. No other alerts. Just when they leave on a stretcher or carted off the field. I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled, turned the notifications off completely in the settings and... lets see. Oh wait there's a notification that BlackBerry is being sent off the field on a stretcher. JK. Okay.. now just wait and see..

Does the program have a swipe down menu? If so that is where the setting would be.

If you're on BB10 just select to follow your team again, and only pick the alerts you want. But I think injuries are part of the nfl news, so you would have to stop news alerts for nfl.

Same problem. Tried removing and readding 'my team'. Dont know if that will solve the problem the notifications that were popping up didnt seem relevant to the team I have followed.

It's working now! I no longer get injury reports after I re-installed the app and turned all notifications off for it. Now just added the Broncos to my team to follow and Arsenal in Champions League only. We'll see.

Good luck. All my alerts are off and I get the most sporadic notifications. One minute it is hockey the hour it is a score. The next day it is football.

I read somewhere that the developer is aware of this. Just waiting for an app update to fix this.
