Default Strobe and Flash your Camera Flash on incoming calls - Flash Ring - BlackBerry 10

Strobe your camera flash when you get an incoming call either via telephone or BBM Voice!

    Download:
    BlackBerry World - Flash Ring

    Video:

    App Requires Permission:
Camera - For Flash Phone - To watch for incoming calls
Run When Backgrounded - To run when minimized
LED Control - To blink the front LED white

App will not flash if other video / camera apps are open.

    Coming Soon:
Ability to run back in Background - only available when BlackBerry releases this feature. All feedback is appreciated!

    Thanks!

Yes, August is when I heard it will be available! I didn't bother putting in any "battery meters" on the minimized pane, I figured most people will have that on other apps if they are keeping it running. If people request it, I might add it, but when headless comes out it should be all background-ed.

I have an idea for the next update. I think it's great that it flashes as you move the knob, but I think a separate preview button would be nice.

Just bought it, does it need the permission for phone too? Or just allow camera only?

That's a good idea. For most social networks. And have the option to turn them on and off.

    Needs permission on phone too.

For txting/bbm/email.. the only issue I see is when would you want it to STOP flashing.. since I wouldn't be able to tell if you read the message..

Tried to buy this app for my Z10. I scanned the barcode and I received a prompt that it is "unavailable for this device". Anyone else seeing this?
    Thanks!

Look for it through the search bar. That's how I did it and it worked fine.

Strange... What device do you have?

EDIT: Also, people that have reviewed it in the store - the app MUST have all the permissions it asks for, otherwise it will not function.

LI tried searching in BB World from my Z-10 and I received the same message as I posted above. I rebooted the phone several times without any change. Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks again!

Can you type "myver" in this forum post - I'll check if I have it set for your version of your phone.

Ahh, that could be the issue.

    This requires 10.0.10 I believe.

I'll do some testing on 10.0.0 and if it works without issue I'll let ya know and reset the version.

Just checking to see if you were able to reset the version back so that it would work with 10.0.9.422? I grabbed this for my wife's Q10 and it works GREAT! Unfortunately thanks to being on Verizon no 10.1 on the Z yet. Thanks!!!
