that's the risk you have to take when you reverse engineer APIs. This is why devs steer clear but if you want to have a fully functional app like Tumblr/Tinder/Snapchat/instagram you can't follow all the rules.

Trapeez is a good tumblr app but it will never be fully featured because the dev doesn't want to reverse engineer which is totally acceptable and his choice that i have to respect. Still the best tumblr app on BB10 today. Nothing even compares.
His Blaq app that has fully open APIs arguably the best twitter app for any platform today.

Snap2Chat has been a success on this platform

When nem changes the name and icon it will be back in BlackBerry World before you know it. Hopefully.

Nem is an amazing dev and i like his apps but they are risky. (timber/snap2chat) If you want success you gotta bend the rules.

Unfortunately the blackberry staff should make more effort on supporting developers so that they won't face such problems.

Blaq has two great things going for it: BlackBerry Hub integration and a beautiful timeline view.

But I personally find navigation fairly clunky, especially among lists; and, for a paid app, its features are limited in comparison to its foremost Android counterparts -- Falcon Pro (free) and Talon ($1.99).
