I haven't yet managed to call someone via the Skype app without it crashing. In fact, Skype is the only app that has fully crashed my phone - before now I was almost convinced that it was pretty much impossible to crash the Z10.

    Anyone else having these issues?

Sabotage by Microsoft, what else could it be.

I've had no problem with Skype except find the audio too low for face to face conversation. Fine if phone is up to your ear, but speakerphone does not seem to come on for it.

I know its the "preview" so maybe it will improve on that. I don't really need Skype for video conversation as all my family are BB groupies, so we are all on BBM. But I do use the phone feature of Skype for phone calling.

The battery drain is horrible, cross platform BBM with video can't come soon enough.

It works pretty good for me. But battery drains a lil more. Luckily I don't use the app that often

Worked great here, the phone got fairly warm though during the 20 minute video call.
The only thing I don't like is the annoying notification showing in the HUB when it's offline. Hopefully future updates will have it fully integrated into the HUB.

It works great for me, i made 4 calls on it Friday for work. Quick to load, quality was great. No reboots required or occurred since.

Now that I've upgraded to leaked build 10.1.0.1880 Skype is quite usable. Prior to this Skype was very laggy.

I ended up deleting it. For some reason I was getting notifications even though it was not in use.

I haven't had any issues with Skype. No huge lag.. there is some slowness as it's a port, but it works perfectly for me.

I am also facing same issue. The issue must be there because it is android build which running in bb10.

Same here. Performance is very weak. Seems like an android port to me!
    Improvements are necessary!

    Two options :

    1) install debug token and then install Skype 4.0

    2) install 10.2 with the earlier runtime and then install Skype 4.0

Works pretty well in either case.
