Wanted to post this and see if anyone else has recently had the same issue? I can't say for sure when the problem started or if it corresponded to an installation of an updated or leaked OS. Just happened to notice the last couple of times that I tried to use Skype it won't work once I'm out of range of Wi-Fi. Yesterday I fired up Skype at work, but once I left the building I was offline and could not get back online. Tried signing out, shutting down the app and restarting and even restarted the phone. Skype would not sign in when on Cellular Data. Soon as I got back to Wi-Fi coverage it would sign in? I have not experienced this problem before, but its happened the last few times I've tried to use it. Have I screwed up some setting somewhere that I'm unaware of? Anyone have any recommendations?

    Currently running a Z10 STL100-4 on Verizon with 10.3.1.2267 (SW Release 10.3.1.1581)

    Thanks Much for any thoughts/suggestions!

Didn't think about it when I first posted but I guess I should add that the Skype app I'm having the issues with is Skype downloaded directly from BBW, not a version pulled from Google Play, Snap, Etc....

A BUMP and an additional question.

Still having the same issue of Skype wanting to work via wi-fi only, not over Cellular Data. I was browsing blackberry world via my PC and it shows Skype available as version #5.1.0.57264 @ 16MB, however the version on my phone is actually #4.9.507.46973 @ 15MB. I even deleted it from my phone and tried to re-download and install and again get the 4.9 version not the 5.1 version that BBW Online shows? Is there anybody out there who has actually successfully download 5.1.0.57264? Why the version # difference between my phone and BBW? Tried telling BBW on phone to search for updates and if finds none? Just curious if anybody else noticed that? makes me think there should be a newer version available somehow? Is there a way to manual force that version install? Or side load it?

Just curious, struck me as odd?
