Viber does not appear in the Notifications area in Settings as an app whose sounds you can edit. This means that even on "Silent" or "Vibrate", Viber will always have an audible ring when someone calls.

For those of you who have been looking for a way to silence Viber, I have discovered a work around.

First you will need a silent ".ogg" sound file (Link here).

Place it in "misc/android/Ringtones" on the device's memory. Name it something that you can identify it with easily, such as "Silent.ogg"

Then launch Viber and open up the settings and go to "Notification Settings". Click on "Call Ringtone" and from the menu you will see your file. After you select it, your incoming Viber calls will all be silent. Useful of you're in a place where you need all of your sounds to be off.

I don't have an issue with the notifications outside of the app. But, if I'm in the app, and my phone is set to vibrate, or silent, it will still sound. Annoying.

For me it would ring no matter what, and because I work in an office there would be times where my phone would ring from a Viber call at inappropriate times. What made it worse is that you cannot silence the call with the volume keys like a regular call.
