Shazam is coming so is Sound Hound apparently just have to wait sadly until its released

Please give me a "ballpark" date for when I can expect Shazam! I miss that app and absolutely must have it on my Z10. In the meantime - Thanks for the hope!

If you want Shazam on BB10, send an email to <blackberry.support@shazamteam.com> and let them know! Below is my reply from Shazam on April 22:

"We are constantly evaluating new platforms for Shazam and Blackberry10 is one of the platforms we are still evaluating. For now, our service is currently unavailable for your device but all details of devices we do cover is on our website, Welcome to Shazam, or on the Stores or Marketplaces you would purchase our application from."

"Our team is quickly building SoundHound for BlackBerry 10 devices and we are excited for the release of the application, yet we do not have an exact date at this time. "

If you want these apps on BB10 you have to email/tweet them and let them know. Check out my thread below, contact info for these and many others is listed. Just go through the list and shoot off an email to the ones you're interested in. These companies won't start investing money in BB10 until they see enough demand to justify it.

Soundhound should be coming soon. I contacted them a couple days ago and this is what I got from them:

"Thank you for reaching out to the SoundHound support team.Our team is quickly building SoundHound for BlackBerry 10 devices and we are excited for the release of the application, yet we do not have an exact date at this time."

I am all for sound hound, never used it before but their commitment to BlackBerry 10 is what's going to get me to commit to them when it arrives... hopefully it is really soon..


Shazam port might not be that hard after the latest leaked update, but then again, "they still need evaluation".... so ... I am not too sure..
