Not sure if anyone can offer any insights, but I have a Z30 and have tried Textra for SMS/MMS and other 3rd party Andriod supported apps on my devise with no luck. The apps load and work fine, but they don't text out - just error out when sending text messages.

I like the UI for Textra and some others, but I can't figure out what's preventing me from texting out?

You can't use android text apps on blackberry 10.

While there are apps that work, they don't have access to all parts of the OS, one of them for example, is the telephony stack.

No texting or calling through android apps.
