Remote Control Collection coming to BB10
Hey CrackBerry folks,
I'm glad to announce that the Remote Control Collection will be available as a native BB10 app for the Z10 and Q10. Development is in process and we will launch in a few weeks. Till then we would love to hear your feedback as well as feature requests.
We already have the ported Android app in the BlackBerry world. It works fine, but can't keep up with the performance and design of a native app.

We are now about to finish the app and want to start testing - with your help. If you own a Z10 and are interested in early (and free) access to the Remote Control Collection, let me know.
Here are some more screenshots, please feel free to tell me your feedback.

The active frame cover is dynamic and shows the name of the connected server and the currently active remote. - 03-22-2013, 07:29 AM #7

This little statistic might as well interest you guys:

The mouse control is as fluid as a built-in laptop touchpad due to the awesome performance of native apps on BB10.

Feedback sent:
The app is like cutting through luke warm butter, it's super smooth and it really shows native VS port.
Probably one of THE fastest apps, some improvements needed (comments sent) but great to see the developer asking for BETA testers, obviously cares about usability etc
My other experience of this kind of app is the Blackberry Remote which doesnt seem to work on my Z10 to control my comp, OS7 only.
Also Androids Unified Remote.
This is app is up there with the others.
Like Androids Unified remote, hope there will be a free & a paid version as we have some right tight asses on the Blackberry platform.Thanked by:Steppschuh (03-23-2013)
