Reminders for BlackBerry 10
This is my first app for bb10! It's essentially a reminders app designed to manage those gazillion tasks of your daily life into a single coherent view on your phone. Here you can sort them by various filters, add more of them, delete them, edit them and even share them! There's no steep learning curve or even any complex things to learn. It's easy as 1-2-3!
Screenshots located at the end!
Hope you enjoy my app, do spread the word about it!
You can follow my blog in my sig or this thread for future updates!

Sounds like a good thing for folks needing this type of app. Thanks for your development work!Bacon should be reclassified as meat candy.Devices: SPH-A620/VGA 1000, Sanyo Katana, BlackBerry 8330, 9630, 9670, MB855 Photon, SPH-L710 Galaxy SIII.TM13, Taking Mobile Nations to the next level!
Just hit 100 downloads along with a 4.5 rating! Could not have been more proud
PS: pushed another update last night that basically notifies you when u save any changes, delete a task or set a task to complete. Yes, you can save empty reminders -> you are notified now if you save an empty reminder.

Just downloaded it. It couldn't be more simple. ( A good thing ) Thank you. Will you be adding the ability to set a time for the reminder?
That is really the only thing missing. I'm the type of person who needs to be reminded or this app loses it's purpose for me.
Other than the lack of adding a time reminder/alert, this is the best app I have seen so far on the z10 Thank you.

Just downloaded to give it a try.
Its not to bad, but if may, these would be the only suggestions from me to make this app totally rock
1) Have a timer option for reminder
2) put a check box beside the reminder, that you just "check" when done, and it moves it to the completed folder (instead of pulling up the menu). You can have a pop up box confirm you want to mark complete I guess to avoid accidental removal, but from a phycological point, people love to tick stuff off a list, it gives a feeling of fullfilment. This way you also wouldn't have to go into the reminder to mark it complete.
3) at the bottom of the main page where you have the menu button to be able to add a new task (along with help and credits), just add an icon for a +NEW right in the bottom center. Why have it as a two step to start a new reminder?
the last and final thing that would be icing on the cake (not even sure this is possible), is have the app link to your Hub so that if you are in a message, your app can link into the menu on a given message to give an option to use that message to create a reminder in your app. It would pull up your app withteh body of the message in the "What is the reminder" box and all you would have to do is fill inthe title. Now that would make me give you 7 out of 5 stars! That is basically what "add to" used to do, and that app is no longer available on BB10. this might be a huge opportunity if you can bake that function in

Haven't had the chance to download yet but plan on doing so as soon as I get home.
One thing I hope you can do is the ability to tie in to the contact list to retrieve birth dates and anniversaries and remind us. I never could understand why the functionality is not already built in. Seems like it's something a lot of users could use.
Of course I realize you may not have access to contact data. But I would be willing to pay for something like this.
If it is possible to do, my suggestion is to add options for multiple time and date reminders. For example, by default reminders on the same date at 8 AM with further user defineable options such as the day before.
Thanks for your work. It's people like you will help make BB10 a success.

Hey I just downloaded the app and so far it's pretty straightforward and easy. As some have already said, I would very much like the option to have it actually notify me at a given time. Also to add to that, is the option for it to be either "one-time" or "recurring", so I could for example say remind me to feed the cat every night at 9PM, or turn on the sprinklers every Friday at 5PM, etc.
First, thank you for downloading my app
Second, I apologise for the delay in me providing an update on some sort of notification system. The problem is, as of this point, BlackBerry does not allow backgrounding of applications. Active Frames aren't backgrounding: its sort of like live tiles in windows you could say except a little static
Third, I am currently looking at integrating the calendar into my app do that not only can you sync it with say google calendar but it will be all set up for you to choose at your will.
I hope this clears this up for all of you!
PS: Reminders just hit 520 downloads yesterday! Thanks so much for this!
Reminders just hit 1.5k downloads two days back! Thank you everyone for this!
Unfortunately it is with a heavy heart I have to announce the halting of all development work on it for the foreseeable future. I am going to be beginning my internship in less than a month's time and I would be busy with that giving me no time to work on this. I am grateful to the blackberry community for supporting me and giving me the opportunity to make such great apps.
