Does it notify / remind you when you're near a location even if the phone is in standby or locked? Or do you have to be doing something or a certain thing on the phone? Because I think I read something like that. Please let me know .

Well it's a paid app and has only been out a few days, correct. All i know is what I have read about it. Says it will do what you suggested.

I've read somewhere, maybe the reviews, that you have to be doing something with your phone for it to notify you. I really want to k of this before buying.

I purchased and installed it. It works as advertised. I put in three things. As I approached work the next day, they dropped in to my HUB and gave me a notifier tone. I only wish there was a time component to the reminder. Then I would only get necessary reminders at the time needed instead of all at once.
