    Okay stupid question. Since Google is discontinuing Google Reader will this affect apps like Reader for BlackBerry 10? I want to purchase it but not if it's going to stop working lol. Thanks for any help.

    Yes, when Google Reader is discontinued it is very likely that those apps wont work unless they integrate with another service.

    Oh snap I'm glad I asked! Do you recommend a rss app? Or do you know if BlackBerry news or another app like that will come out?

    Get gNewsReader.
    The dev, Yogesh, is a regular poster here.
    The current RSS features integrate brilliantly with Reader.
    And he;s updating it to make use of a new service when it's available, he;s even taking feedback on what services people want.
    To top it all off, I think it's free since Google announced it's pulling Reader.
    You simply cannot go wrong, top dev.
