Here are some facts:

The application is in beta at the moment. There will be some changes in the release version.

This is the only Weather Application you will ever need for your BlackBerry 10. Utilizing OpenWeatherMap's still growing database with data from global meteorological broadcast services and more than 40,000 weather stations, this app provides you with all the weather information you need to plan your day or your holidays for more than 70,000 cities. Highlights are the Maps with weatherlayers for temperature, precipitation, cloud coverage and much more. Another mentionable feature is the Active Frame, which displays and updates the current weather information, when the App is thumbnailed.
You will love the outstanding BB10 Flow which we have integrated into this App.

how will it be better than the native weather???

i do not know the native app on bb10, so i can not really compare it.
our application can identify your positon and show the weather for it. additionally we have build in maps focused on your position with a lot of different layers.
it is also possibile to use the application as a world clock. at the moment we are working on social integration (bbm connect).

Looking great especially the dark theme which goes along quite well with the overall UI. I hope you make it paid at a reasonable price as opposed to a free version with ads. Would gladly pay for such an app!

We are working hard an the new version with BBm integration and some other features.
paid vs ads: at the moment we prefer paid < 2$
@name: the name "weather" is just a working title.

i don't think this is anything special, unless it looks different on your device. There's already more sophisticated weather apps out there that show what the weather actually looks like with all this data as well. meaning, if it's raining outside, you see the area your checking and see it raining there, plus the weather data. This app is just another plain Jane attempt to say "another app".
