Plex for BlackBerry 10?

I've paid for the PlayBook version, is there anyway to side load it onto the Z10?

I sent BB a twitter message the other day asking about the apps that were for both PB and Z10 if the same account had to buy them twice..... no answer from them

A lot of my games are free on my Z10 that I bought for my Playbook....I believe the vendor has to make this call thou, not BB. We could sideload it....

Oh and I just tested it, the PlexWeb works absolutely perfectly on the Z10. Need need to sweat over an app just yet

yesss it does, just logged in via the browser and saved it to the home screen on the z10, works perfectly

Enter the ip address of your plex media server. If you are on your local network it will probably be something like 192.168.x.x (mine is 192.168.1.98), and add the port (usually 32400) and /web after. For me it is:

http://192.168.1.98:32400/web

Side loaded version of Plex works fine, if you can locate a. Bar, or convert your purchased. Apk. Sounds like those conceited buggers won't be supporting BB10 anytime soon.

They have been outwardly Blackberry negative, even though I believe their Playbook app has done fine for them. Its a simply Android re-package. The website works, or I will just use the bar converted. I have purchased the playbook one to show support, so I think I should get the bar file to attempt on my BB10 Z10.

Quite frankly, that is idiotic reply. As you said in your next post it works fine side loaded (I've tested it as well). It's no work for them to post it up for BB10, it's quite literally logging into BBWorld Vendor Portal and clicking a checkbox, it's less than 3 minutes of effort. But that is their loss.

I'm done with supporting them. Coupled with the poor attitude in the past to the XMBC community where they got their start by using the source code.

I've already been testing out alternatives.

I've been making mental notes of any developers who said anything poor about Blackberry.. especially those who have android apps and won't take the 10 minutes to port them over at no cost to them.. they didn't want to support us, I won't be supporting them.. even after BB10 explodes and they realize they are missing out..
