Yes sideload works (more ads than normal though)... but it does not work with my car. I've tried contacting Pandora but have yet to hear anything back.
Somewhat like Songza better but im a HUGE fan of being able to connect Pandora to my car. - 03-28-2013, 07:23 PM #5
I sideloaded my the app on my Z10. tonnes of ads :-(. But the app isn't even close as good to the native Pandora app on my HTC 8X WP which is ad free. Which is without a doubt the best Pandora app on every platform. But at least is gets it done

Agree that Apollo is a great app to fill the gap

Thanks for your interest in having Pandora on the Blackberry 10. We are not developing an app at this time, but we will definitely keep it in mind while planning our product priorities for the future.
Here is a list of mobile devices that currently support Pandora:http://www.pandora.com/everywhere/mobile
Thanks so much for listening to Pandora!
Response from Pandora.
I like Apollo...

Btw I did install Pandora, side loaded it and it works brilliantly. No force closing or anything, plenty of ads, and the only way that's gonna go away is to upgrade to Pandora one.

I don't see why Pandora wouldn't make an app as they have for the other platforms. I use the browser for now.

Lack of Pandora app frustrating in car
My problem with the lack of a Pandora app is the inability to link Pandora to my car as well... the Apollo app is nice for playing on the z10, but won't link with the car. Pandora directly from your browser won't link to the car either. I was just about to try side-loading the android Pandora app, but I don't want to bother if it's not going to work anyway... have you had any luck since this post? Has anyone sucessfully linked a side-loaded Pandora app to their car?
