I can't get it to download from the site.
right click and save the link where it says click here(If download does not start, click here to start it, or right click on the link and save-as. If the downloaded file is .zip, please rename it to have the extension .bar)
Jus downloaded the update and loving the improvements.
Finally can switch off group notifications!
What i dont know is if the led will still flash on group notification when set to off or does it kill all notifications? Will test tomorrow when people are awake...lol

Pictures are not sending through. I tap to send a picture and the status bar doesn't move. Any thoughts?

hey guys ive just downloaded this and sieloaded onto my phone... when i send a message the orange clock stays and doesnt turn into a green tick... is this right?
love it. thanks dev!
Seems like the update one is killing my battery.
If it shows orange that means you sent the message but the recipient isn't connected to whatsapp. Maybe their phone is off or data isn't working? Is it happening to every person you message or only one?

This may be a general side loading question, but for an app like this, can you just install over the previous version using DDPB or do you need to remove the older version first?

Using the chrome extension, it just installed over the old version.

I've also the problem that OpenWhatsApp seems to drain the battery...
However had the issue also with the 0.9.2 release.
Strange. I've actually noticed far less battery drain with openwhatsapp compared to the android whatsapp port.

new release works pretty well from a functionality level, one thing which doesn't work that flawless is getting out from a chat back to the list....
i'd say, im also seeing longer battery life with OpenWhatsapp over the Android port.
Atleast this week we should get the official native version, and not these sideloadable stuff :|
This week? It's Wednesday already.

This is native right ? Are there any devs who have the ability to check the code for any strange or even malicious parts ? I was just thinking about skipping the "real" version for this one, because of all the bad news WhatsApp is getting for not being secure. Although i have no idea what makes this app so dangerous. I just want the best for my first BlackBerry :)
Is it safer than the original ?
I find drain to be ok.
Don't see anything out of the ordinary
