I just installed ColorNote Note Pad from the Amazon App Store after reading this week's App Roundup article: BlackBerry App Roundup for May 1, 2015 | CrackBerry.com
Looks better than the other note pad apps I've tried.

I use Evernote synced via Remember. That way, all my notes are available on all my devices, desktop and laptop. Makes life simpler for me. All free, as the the free version of Evernote suits my needs.

Depends on what requirements you have. If the points in time play a role, so that you get your notes on a timeline (like Twitter or so), you could use Note+, this also allows folders and has Import/Export-functionality. I found also apps for travel diary functionality, allowing pictures in the notes. But you will probably find also apps for prioritized notes. For short term I use Remember.

I'm going to give Evernote a try too I guess, and see what I think... I just want something simple, for when I have an idea in my head or something and I can just write it down

    Try Produktyf CRM:

    Produktyf CRM - Overview

Its basically an app designed to take notes and link them to other items (like contacts, companies, projects, etc) so you can organize your notes very effectively.

Remember is a very nice note app... Thumb's up to BB for that one.

the problem is it doesn't sync well to other devices, so like Elessar.cm I use Evernote to sync to my iPAd and PC. The problem I'm now having is voice notes from Reminder don't always sync to Evernote. I'm going to take time to figure this out because voice notes have become my best friend since moving to BB10...

So for that reason the free version of Evernote may have to be exchanged for the paid version since the voice notes use up bandwidth...

    Hi ProjectBrett,

I have been checking out a few and have come down to 2 (at the moment)...

    1. Evernote
    2. Note Everything (free)(GooglePlay)

"Note Everything" has the nice option of quick hand/finger/stylus notes which I like to have quick access to when I need to jot something down while on call or whenever. Have always wanted that and this app gives a nice option and features. Cleanish UI too.

You can Share the note, like in a text or Print to PrintHand Or even make a Calendar appointment out of it (nice option)...but no direct Evernote share. Maybe the Pro Version has it.

I guess if Evernote had the ability to capture "hand written/drawn" stuff it would be complete for me.

Goodluck, and please share what you decide upon.

it seems I went with Evernote, it's simple to use and I love the native experience, it's great for what I need... say I have an idea pop up in my head, I can get it down right away... before I just always made a new calendar entry.... which could get annoying.

Thanks for your suggestions, I really like Evernote so far!

The syncing part seems to be useless and seems like a recipe for disaster.

it looks nice, but I'd rather stick with a free app.. especially for a note taking app the screen shots look real nice though!

If only it sync'd better with other devices, Remember would be perfect if it did...

This was in the old version. In the current version (1.4) we have redesigned how contacts work in the app. Now the app will display all contacts from your device and you can create notes for those contacts in the app without need to sync anything. The notes will be linked to a contact even when you move the app database to a new device, provided your new device has access to the same Accounts with contacts.

Does any note taking app have such simple feature as note autosaving with time+date as a title?

Writer looks great btw, but don't know if there is such autosave feature.
