This is been an issue for a while. My subscriptions in Nobex do not update. Instead I need to go into the podcast directory and manually search for the podcasts I want. If I do that way I can find the most recent podcast for the particular stream.

It is a little bit of a hassle because sometimes I don't know if there is a new podcast or not by looking at my subscriptions. Usually they will show up a day or so late but they do not automatically refresh.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Agree have not recently gotten updates on subscriptions with Nobex. Perhaps reload app?

It's working better today. For some reason changing podcast managers to me is like major surgery. I don't like to do it unless really forced to. Maybe I'll check it out so thanks for suggestion.

I've always found it to be unreliable, especially for a daily podcast, to which I subscribe. It seems to be a bit better after going to settings and sending a log.

I'm running into the same thing with Nobex. It's good for a while, but after a few weeks, it stops updating.

A re-install fixes it, but only for a while.

I've tried (and paid for) pretty much all of the podcast catchers, including bPod. Some of the Android ones were a little too much for my Leap to run (ack) and I just didn't find one I could rely on.

Open to suggestions.

This is been my not so elegant solution: I can be certain that there are certain podcasts that have been updated at certain times. If I know that a podcast has been created but does not automatically update then I will manually find that podcast in the podcast section. I do this by running a name search in the podcast section and then my podcast shows up in the search. For some reason the latest podcast will show up in this way but will not automatically populate my subscriptions.

So this is a hassle but so far worth it for me.

For those running the dual core Blackberrys I have a solution. Podcast addict makes a version for android 2.3. It runs light and works well on bb10. Just type podcast addict into the play store and 2 versions will come up. You want the one with the gray icon.
