I use USAA mobile banking and Think or Swim and eTrade for stock trading... BB10 is no deal if I can't get these apps. Is anyone using the android versions of these on their Blackberry device?

It's a little slow, but E*Trade from android works fine on 10.2.1

USAA seems to work if you launch it a couple of times. (it crashed twice when I was trying to launch it but it stabilized)

I don't have an account with either service so I'm not able to tell you if the services actually work, just that the apps will launch.

Thanks for the help. I walked in and test drove the Z-10 at the AT&T store. The browser is so fast. I've had an iPhone since 2007...in 30 days my contract is up and I'm thinking of going with the Z-10. The only downside I can see is the apps... But if the android apps work ok..then it shouldn't be to ouch of an issue.

Yeah, just don't be afraid to side load.
To use the android apps you'll need os 10.2.1. Many providers have released it but if you're in the US or your carrier hasn't released 10.2.1 yet then you can find the update or methods to update on these forums.

    Best of luck.

I use the USAA mobile browser site and it works flawlessly. I'd rather use the native browser than download an Android app for something as security oriented as banking.

    Can't vouch for the others.

Using the browser for Usaa is a lot better than using the android app. I'm on 10.2 and when accessing the website from the BlackBerry browsers you wouldn't know your accessing from the website....no need for app, only a shortcut on screen or favorite in browser.

I don't think you can deposit checks from the mobile app... You have to have the app

    I used Snap to install:

    Etrade
    Chase Mobile
    Discover Card

All work great. The Etrade app is a bit slow but to be honest it sucks anyway compared to using their actual website. Lol.

You should be able to install any banking app you want from Google Play via Snap and I'll bet they all run ok.

Don't underestimate the bb10 browser. Light years ahead from the legacy browser. I would also bet money it's better than iphone's browser.

One, I save my usaa logon information and click thru the first screen. Then I log on with my pin which isn't saved. Same thing if I were to use the app on my old iPhone.

Two, you can deposit checks from the mobile site. I do it all the time.

    Love USAA.
