    About time!

    I have the native BBMaps, which is fine on the road, as is the Android Google Maps. But for directions for walking (which I find very useful working in central London), BBMaps is useless and Google Maps seems to have an issue where the map spins and loses the focus on my direction too often for it to be reliable.

    NavFree has an excellent walking option. Tried it, and it works well. The option to search by Google is also useful when you don't have a street name or postal code.

    Love the app. ,but one issue I have is that, whilst in walking mode, I can't see to get the map to track up - so the map is always north up.

    Has any spotted if this can be changed? I've look through all the settings, but can't see an option.

    I send mail to support to ask them to ad the option to install the maps on sd card, they replied that they will look into that.

    For power consumption, not the best in class, used it wednesday and if I would draw the power drain line through it would last 4 hours, which could be improved if in nightmode the app would turn down the brightness. PS test is done on my spare Z10 which has no sim and radio is switched off, only wifi turned on all the time.

    What i miss, is better zoom factor when arriving at intersection and lane assist. If I wouldn't know my directions I would have missed two exits at the least.

    Forgive my ignorance guys but when it says "off line mapping" and" data saving" does Freenav not use data due to GPS being on?
    Basically what is the advantage over Waze etc?

    It means you can download the maps in advance (using wifi). GPS itself does not use data but uses a different radio to receive satellite signals. So if you have the maps, the gps can locate you even if you have no cellular data service.

    I don't know Waze.

    Seems it is not possible yet to store Maps on SD, which makes it unusable on my q5. My Country alone needs arround 2GB of space :-/ .. Space i cant make available.
