Question Native Battery usage app? Can it be done?

I am one of the people that is finding my battery depleting very fast on "some" days.

    Might be:
    Active frames
    Navigation
    Wifi / NFC / Bluetooth
    Emails / texting / BBM
    Non-approved / ported apps

Is it possible for an app developer to create an app that can monitor the battery usage? Or does BlackBerry have to build it into their OS?

    Ex.

This is from the Android OS (not sure what version). Great feature!

Sorry if there is an app out there that is available. I have not found one yet. This is something I would pay for!

    Thanks,

    Brian

I did start another post with the same question in another forum and I had a member show me a app in App World that looks the same as the one I posted pictures of. Not sure if it does all the same features. I am still trying it out.

Check it out yourself here: BlackBerry World - Battery indicator

I'll keep posting my feelings on it as I use it.

I would be interested in your results. Please respond back after you have had time to use the app.

This app is an android port and I don't believe it is running properly. The usage section rarely seems to change and the values don't seem correct.

I have tried some side loaded android apps as well and they all seen to have similar problems. When getting data usage I don't believe they are looking for the data in the right "Spot" so they are faking they numbers. Just a guess. I side loaded a "Advanced task Killer" that is supposed to report and kill apps that are eating your phones battery, processor and ram. The app works but it only sees android apps and not any blackberry native apps or core apps.
