So I got my z10 the day it came out in Canada. I remember the promises that the popular apps like skype for instance would be on the phone. 2 and a half months later no skype and no shazam I'm dying for shazam. I'm not tech savvy and I don't want to side load. I want an app. Does anyone have any answer to when these 2 particular apps might be coming? Thanks

Email the dev's of these apps and ask them. OS is new and until the dev's of these apps develop for them, you are free to use a BAR file.

I contacted Shazam through their twitter account. They replied to me very honestly and declared they did not plan on making an app for BlackBerry 10.

We have been over this subject a few times. I feel very frustrated as well especially with A sound recognition software that BlackBerry could have developed themselves but I guess they never bothered...
Anyhow... SoundHound is coming our way soon. It's very similar to shazam ( for some much better) and they have more than once confirmed they are coming over to BB10.

I don't kno bout everyone else but I love the wallpaper changer app...the only thing I don't like bout it...is that u hav to keep the app open to use it...kinda defeats the purpose of seein the wallpaper...but I giv it 4* outta 5

Not happy with Z10 !!!!!!!!
I am a blackberry real lover....

1. Curve was ok phone for me!!! (2006 to 2008) battery issue and primary normal look!

2. Bold 3 was great! (2009 to 2012)
Great phone and features!!!

3. Bold 5 was fine (2012 to 2013)
Only one issue no battery backup!!

4. BlackBerry Z10 March 2013!!!
Lot of problems like...
No skype!
No screen grabber!
No Google maps! Connected with other Google maps user.
No application which i used in my last phone!!!!
No edomondo sports tracker!
Phone function is ok but require application to keep it upgrade

Email the damn devs, they don't look at the crackberry forums and go ohh well someone made the 1,000,001 post about not having our app yet. Mhmm maybe we should make the app because of those crackberry posts.

Great phone and features!!!

I have google maps (even in streetview navigation works- i'll post some picks in a sec) /maverick/places for goodereader it works perfectly, 10.1 blackberry maps is amazing, you can also download waze gps (i like bb maps better though)

z10 has built in screen grabber (hold both - and + volume at the same time) with no dumb watermarks like using "munched"
