kiss iphone themes good bye...there will be no themes for the BB10. Thor has already stated this in a prior message. How can you say better photo creative apps when you haven't tried the one coming with BB10? They did buy a company who did all that and to incorporate it into the OS. Have you seen Blackberry Navigation?

For me,

- Natwest (I guess this will be a few months atleast)
- Spotify (I'd hope this was ready upon release, since its a revenue generator)
A decent Docs editer (Sounds like D2G will be built in)

Hootsuite (again, I'd hope they were able to get an app pretty sharpish)

And not forgetting the normal must haves, Facebook, Twitter, Sky, BBC


A luxury would be a intergrated Nav, which it sounds like BB are working on!

Nope, I last used an ios device when they first released the 2ng gen ipod touch. I grew bored of it quickly. Other than flicking up and down through my songs. That never gets old.

If you mean Sky Go, I wouldn't hold your breath. They have shown hardly any interest in developing an app for non-iOS devices. Even now only a very few Android handsets and no tablets are provided for.

The only thing I use skype for is online gaming, otherwise I don't see why i would need it on my phone. Twitter i also never use, and i also dislike when i see people using hashtags on other stuff. I just need me basic text editing memopad and facebook and msn and internet and a decent picture mangaing app.

Speaking of which, the bb10 picture and file managing better be as good as it is on the Legacy OS because managing files and stuff on the playbook is a nightmare.

Just my two cents.

1. Viber seems committed to delivering VoIP for BBOS and BB10
2. Region-specific apps like the one you have mentioned were a big target of the BB10 development campaign according to Alec Saunders
3. I'm not counting on Skype to be there at launch, but there will be alternatives. Face Flow as announced an upcoming BB10 app, though I've never used their service.
4. Themes are not coming
5. Native photo filters are coming, Kevin guaranteed Instagram, Scrapbook and other photo editing apps from PlayBook are sure to be there
6. Haven't heard of Text Here
7. If RIM can't deliver offline maps, Google Maps or an Android side-load should do the job

My needs are pretty simple, I have loads of apps I'd like but can live without. The following are ones I use at least once a day:

1. Poynt;
2. BlackBerry Traffic (or Navigation or what ever the name du jour is these days);
3. TuneIn Radio.

The rest would be gravy.

BBM > Skype. BB10 Platform > Skype app. Contact the developer if you want Skype. Microsoft is the company behind Skype.
Do your homework please. RIM is not at fault if Skype does not appear on BB10.
