MS Lync and ShrePoint Apps

Its a shame that as BlackBerry are pushing hard BlackBerry Balance to corporate customers they havent also released at launch their corporate MS Lync and Sharepoint applications.

I know of at least four large enterprise customers in the UK that watched the launch and were impressed and wanted a quick upgrade to BES 10. When I had to imform them that the Lync app especially wasnt available it stopped them in their tracks. I just hope that they are released quickly before the hype dies down.

There is a way to do LYNC with the Android version of the application.
Obviously this is only good for single users - not a whole deployment.

Thanks, I'll give this a try. If they managed to come up with a way of federating with BBM this would probably be even better. Oh well, we shall just have to wai and see what appears.

Lync is on the road map for EIM integration via BES10 in Q2 I believe I saw. Not sure if a separate Lync client will come out prior, but I really want it as well. It actually kept me on BlackBerry since iPhone and Android didn't have it for so long.

I couldn't get the Android sideloaded app to work.
Lync and Skydrive are two business apps not games that we need.

I have planned to add CMIS support to PlayCloud 10. CMIS is supported by SharePoint.

PlayCloud 10 - more simple cloud access...

I was wondering if anyone knows of any status update on a Lync 2013 client. I tried the 2013 client converted bar file today on my PlayBook and it was no good (error about the keyboard comes up). A stand-alone client is needed other than any eventual BES10 integration, since my company doesn't want to use an MDM solution.
