I downloaded the 7 day north American trial last week and now when I purchased the map it started downloading it again. Is this normal?

I think it is normal so that you have a choice to put it on your SD card instead of the phone memory. Could be wrong... have been before.

Question!! What if I downloaded onto the phone and now want to move it to the sd card that I just bought. Can that be done? Or do i have to redownload?

There are instructions on this in another thread if you do a search on CB for Mireo. Involves going into the second page of the settings screen and selecting Recover Content. I just don't recall offhand if you have to delete and reinstall the program first in order to get the option to store the maps on the sd card to come up, hence the need to search for the other thread. You will have to re-download the maps, but after you select th SD card it will automatically delete them from the device storage. At least that's how it worked for me when I did it a while ago when the option to store the maps on the SD card first came out.

EDIT: There was no charge to re-download the map--just make sure, obviously, to use WIFI unless your have an unlimited or high limit data plan.

I downloaded Mireo Trial yesterday and did not have sufficient space on my sd card. So it wound up in Internal memory. It would be nice if it could be moved. Also, the download was incredibly slow on my wifi (more maybe my dsl connection) so I finished the download using Data (unlimited until Verizon sees the 2gig download!) during which time the battery depleted. It would be nice if you could download it on the computer and transfer it to the card or internal memory. They could require a pin to download?
