Is there gonna be push notifications for messages and hub integration? If any beta testing comes up let me get in tho.

UPDATE question: Ok I see no push notifications possible as you say. What about a possibility of setting a background refresh time while it's headless? That would be fantastic.

I'll be posting the progress of my development for Messenger here.

This version is still in it's very early alpha. Only logging in, Receiving Contacts.

Next is receiving , conversations, messages, replying to messages, chat heads (will try my best for this)

Push notifications are impossible, unless BlackBerry and Facebook will make another agreement to allow me to have access.

Headless and Hub Integration are possible, will try to apply asap.

Wow, a very much needed app and the pictures already look beautiful. I'd recommend that you use the round blue bolt (logo from active frame) instead of the pyramid when pulling down to refresh.

Will be different from snap2chat and relate to the messenger app great work so far tho!

Looks amazing, for beta testing, will you be using BlackBerry's sandbox through BlackBerry World? If so I'd love to help in the development process, being a ex-employee of BlackBerry I have a fair amount of experience finding break points, and improving products!

To all, I will be giving out public betas. Don't worry. Current build looks very slow, it looks slow because it's downloading images and contact data at the same time without any optimization done. Will do my best to make the app work as smooth and as fast as possible!!!

Can you give it a proper name and icon? I don't know if it's possible without legal issues but if it has a proper name and icon, I will use it! OCD problems.

The app icon and name is not yet very official, but I'm sure the messenger name should go through. The icon, not sure
