Message X | Forward SMS, Block SMS/Email, Led Color, Group Message, Message Timer, Private Message
Message X Beta 18.104.22.168
I need this kinda app so I make it and I guess others might need it too so I post it here. It's beta version thus I really need your feedback, bugs report and more ideas to make it better. After trying, please suggest the price for this app as well.
Main features (so far):
+ Forward all SMS to Email. User must have at least 1 email account setup already on the device or let Message X system sending email (default). This can be changed in Settings.
+ Block SMS and Email (Actually it's not blocking, it's auto deleting unwanted ones for you)
+ Set different colors for the Led for particular SMS/Email sender.
+ Group Messaging: Send SMS/Email to all contacts in a group. Group can contain both phone number and email
+ Message Timer: Scheduling sending SMS/Email to a single contact or a group of contacts.
+ Private Box: Storing SMS conversation for particular contacts inside Message X with password lock. Those messages, conversations are not appeared in the Hub. This feature is even amazing when user can give the password to someone else but they might not be able to see what is private. (I'll explain more about this mysterious unique feature in comments if someone is interested in)
+ Message X doesn't store, copy your SMS, email content anywhere in any circumstance. We respect privacy.
+ Users have to leave it's running (Fullscreen or Minimized) for it functioning properly. Once users close, exit Message X, it won't function at all.
+ Users must accept all permission requests at the first time Message X is running.
+ Users should disable Led notification for the SMS/Email in Device Notification Settings.
+ Since Message X assists country code automatically so it might be wrong for you, please feedback right away so i can fix it asap. Email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
It's pretty strait forward for the SMS Forwarding, users input 1 email address and it will forward all the incoming SMS (Text Message) to that email. User can start/stop this feature at anytime using the start/stop Menu. The default setting is Message X will use its own system to send email, you can go to Settings (Swipe Down Menu) and change to using local email.
Block SMS (aka Auto Delete): Please input the full phone number including the country code and the plus sign. The best way to do so is copy the number from the SMS from the Hub. (The API for detecting mobile country code has bug, I've reported to BlackBerry and hope they will fix it soon)
Block Email (aka Auto Delete): Please input a valid email address, or if you copy from an email from the Hub (Press and Hold on the header and choose Copy Name from the Context Menu) it might look like "First name Last name <email@example.com>", don't worry, just paste it into the text field, Message X will extract the email address for you when you click Add or press Enter.
Set Led Color: Same to above features, input the phone number or email address and it will show the Led Color Config screen for you to choose Led color, fast or slow blinking or Multi-color blinking (Blinking all available colors one by one).
