    An example of an app claiming this would be useful.

    Hard to know if they use "Leading edge" as a general term - like "High quality" - or it refers to a specific type or feature such as ballistic scrolling for instance.

    Face10 has an option for leading edge scrolling...

    Just tried it in Inst10. Basically if your scrolling down the screen and you have let's say 2 pictures on the screen. One has the majority of the screen at the top the other barely showing at the bottom. It will scroll back up to the image that is mostly showing to put it at the top of the screen. So it just scrolls to align the picture to the top of the screen instead of stopping half way or where ever you managed to scroll to.

    If that makes sense
