Kobo came bundled with the PlayBook (Canadian based firm) so I would expect so. And - since Kindle is confirmed, I am really hoping for Audible.com audiobooks, cos they are owned by Amazon as well as Kindle.

Me too. I have two concerns.

1. I'm afraid the Kindle app might be 1.x, without support for annotation or highlighting, like the WP app. This would be a disappointment.

2. Even though Audible is owned by Amazon, they seem to be very slow about getting new apps out the door. They announced WP7 support last winter but the app didn't show up until the end of June. The WP8 version didn't appear until the end of December, I believe. They never released a BBOS7 app, although the OS6 app worked okay (except for tiny onscreen menus etc.).

Now that BB10 is launched, I hope someone will try out the Kindle app and report whether it has the ability to create highlights and notes. The Android and iOS versions do; the WP version doesn't.

Suppposedly, but it never was. The Android app has to be sideloaded.

Its rumored to be release this week to coincide with the USA launch. Along with some other top apps.

Yes the app is confirmed the rumor is that it will be released this week. In any case it should be soon.

It doesn't work in the PB browser. I don't know about the BB10 browser.
