No 10.3 update in March and Facebook not decommissioning on the day specified whilst users upgrade to a non-Hub Web page.

Are any BlackBerry schedules for handset software changes to be believed? It's pretty funny that even app switch off doesn't occur when announced

Are you SURE? I thought it was too but it was not showing up so long as I had the "updated" web-based version installed.

It's worth a try for anyone wanting to revert back to delete the web-based version and then check the beta-zone again.

They were also over a month late on removing the "Built For BlackBerry" certification from apps in BBW. They quite literally cannot meet a deadline. They just can't.

I like the passport and BB10 and will stick with it as long as possible but I am done defending or supporting this company. They are completely incompetent and they deserve every bit of failure that comes their way.

The app will probably still work for a while, it's not like they're gonna flip a switch and it will stop.

You'll just see some things stop functioning slowly, and errors will pile up.

Hell, it might even work for a long time, certain functions at least, until Facebook updates them.

All you have to know, is that it is no longer supported, and nothing is guaranteed to work.

You're using a dead app. Who knows how long it will function.

I don't think BlackBerry themselves has any control over when Facebook flips a switch to kill the APIs BlackBerry uses. No need to wish the app to stop working for others just because you downgraded to the shortcut.

Someone had a suspicious thought that perhaps the whole thing is a way to get out of the "need" to maintain the old Facebook App. It's probably not true, but it could be.

Either way, it's funny how upset people were about the old app, but the thought of losing it is the worst thing since - well, I don't even know. Crumbs! Crumbs! Crumbs! :P
