Glad to hear it. The 10.2 release would be the right time to dump a load of stuff on BlackBerry world. I suppose we'll have to wait and see. I remain optimistic and await further info.

It makes more sense that it would come out in time for the Z30 launch. You are already going to have the device being reviewed so it makes sense to give the Z30 some extra buzz kind of like they did with Skype and the Q10.

Kris is standing by his posts though, and don't you all find it strange that Bla1ze refused to say definitively one way or the other. He only led us to believe it was a fake. Also, the thread was closed a little prematurely in my opinion. My instincts tell me that there's meat on this bone and orders were given to shut the hell up. I don't think it's a hoax. I think something is going on that we're not supposed to know about yet.

I don't know, but Kevin has said that he knows Instagram is being worked on for BB10, hence his "Instagram is coming to BB10" post. I think more is known, but just isn't being shared because BBRY asked them not to.

Folks, we all got trolled. The OP of that other thread was probably a very bored iPhone or G4 owner. They had some fun at our expense. But they will get it all back one day. What goes around comes around.

The only way IG comes to BB10 is if there is a legitimate market/user base to justify creating an app for. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't it take a while for IG to appear on Android (and they even had the user base to support it!)?

As with all things on the Internet, take things with a grain of salt. Right now imo there's no reason as to why Instagram would be on BB10 if you ask me. Even WP8 which has more users than on BB10 only has third party clients, and Instagram apparently turned a blind eye to the 6Tag app recently released even though the app reversed engineered their apis. If Instagram were planning an app for WP8, they wouldn't have done so imo.

Bb10 has alot less subscribers than WP8, and with the future in such doom and gloom, I can see them taking the wait and see approach.

Then with Instagram 's recent acquisition of Luma, I can see integrating Luma as a higher priority to Instagram at the moment.

Until there's official word, or at least concrete evidence that supports that. i'll take the that Instagram is not coming to BB10.

still doesnt mean its truely legit. bla1ze is right, take it FWIW. but we cant ignore the fact someone credible at least "somewhat confirmed" that it is in works. which, in my opinion, is worthy of discussions in the community.
