Yes that's exactly what BB10 needs. Let's chastise devs of huge name apps.

It's working great on my Z10 & Z30. All you have to do is download Viber from Snap, go in to settings, deactivate account and delete the app. Then you can download Viber from BlackBerry World and it should work fine.

I wouldn't mind that it's an android port if they didn't run as they do now. Android apps need to run a lot better.

I am so grossly offended that Viber doesn't work on the Q series. Instead of "Viber now on BB10!" it should be "Viber port works on some BB10 (If you're lucky)".

Working perfectly on my Sleek beast Z10...I think rather than chastising big app names, we should infact encourage them more by downloading their apps and once they see the numbers, they will see the value of making a native app.

Having to deactivate account only to reactivate again sounds somehow, they said Viber for berry right, there are many things I am worried about except having to side load or download snap etc, it's a port and it sucks, an average user can't use it

Why should I download Viber from snap?! I haven't used it in the past, so there shouldn't be any 'deactivation' required! It's a pathetic port..as simple as that.

Point missed. Viber in BlackBerry World for BlackBerry users. Does not work from what I read. Your standard user is not going to go through the steps stated above. They will download it fail and blame BlackBerry.

    Viber dropped the ball.

You should tweet BB too and thank them for the most excellent decision to fight Android fragmentation across tens of millions of devices by allowing devs to selectively exclude apps from the Q series phones, allowing fragmentation on BB10 across much much fewer devices.
Viber are liars. But BB enabled a lot of these issues to occur. They deserve blame as well.

Had the same problem earlier. Couldn't get pass through activation. But, after a few reads here at CB, eventually got it to work by simply installing again via Snap, deactivate, uninstall, then install Viber via BlackBerry World.

It's much smoother than Viber android plus it now syncs and detects all contacts unlike the android version I get from Snap.

    Though haven't tried calling function.

Try it guys, won't hurt giving it a chance.

I downloaded from amazon android and it works. All functions.
So I'm not fixing what isn't broken

I'm running a bunch of android apps, from amazon, no problems.
