I really want BlackBerry news on my Z10, I use it all the time on my PlayBook and I desperately want it for my Z10. Please BlackBerry?

GASP! NO! You too? I liked the fact that it synced my feeds via my BBID. My Playbook and my old 9900 had the same feeds even though only set it up on the PB to begin with and I liked that a lot. I did wish it looked nicer but hey it was a 9900 I didn't expect anything more than it working.

I sorely miss BlackBerry News.

However, if you are okay with this messing up your unread email count, I have replicated most of the functionality of BlackBerry News using the Hub.

First, create a new email account. Using that new account, sign up for Blogtrottr. This service takes your RSS feeds and sends you an email for each new article (or a scheduled digest). Add your email account to the Hub with the name of "News Feeds", then go into Hub settings and disable it from showing up in the main Hub view. Go to notification settings and turn everything off for that account (on 10.2, I actually like to keep toast notifications on).

Now you have a list of RSS articles that properly supports read/unread status, is fully searchable, and can be synced across multiple devices. The only downfall is that I am showing over 5400 unread emails, while the real number is around 200 if I don't count the news feeds account.
