I have a Q10 and I'd like to get all of my text messages off my phone and archived on my computer. My preference is to store them in an Excel spreadsheet where I can search and sort the messages. Is there a convenient way to do this? Thanks.

Possible to create a back up. Or saved chat history on your SD/device. Zip it and data transfer to your computer into excel?? Haven't used excel in years

I don't see any way in the TEXT listing in the Hub to export TEXT messages. As suggested, possibly a 3rd party program that backs them up into a 'text' format of some type could be used.

Sorry, but I don't even have a text allowance so get very few and send almost none.

Only way I see to do it is individually for each contact. You have to copy chat. Then you should be about to transfer and open.. but maybe not in excel.
