Mine always has. If you can't view this as a animated gif, then you need to change your OS.

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...pdate-1009783/ or any of the other OS that have been posted. Have you checked to see if your phone has an update available directly (settings->software update)? What OS are you currently on?

Are you sure the files are animated GIF files?
Not all GIF files are animated.

Also, if the file is the newer animated PNG file, the BB10 OS doesn't properly handle all forms of those, they will 99% of the time only appear as a still image.

EDIT: The above GIF works fine on my Z30, however I'm on 10.3.0.908 STA100-3. As you are running one of the very latest leaked OS's, expect stuff to not work.

Exactly why I posted a known viewable image. I wanted to know if it was all, or just an issue with a site or format the OP was trying to see.

As for the OS, I've run every leak ever available, and never had a problem viewing a gif.

Not sure whats different between yours and mine so I'll write it off to a bug or an unknown setting. No a big deal for me to not have, but good to know it's my problem .

I'll also add that it does work in BlackBerry browser, just not within the Crackberry app.

Probably an app problem. I don't use it, so can't confirm, but since the browser works for you, obviously not a phone issue.

"Little" details like that help so much.

So you can see gif animations in general? Sounds again like an app issue, not a phone or OS issue.

Nothing special about it either. Just a random gif to test with. Maybe a different twitter app would help.

The native twitter app never does vine or gifs ect for me, I always have to use to browser. Not a big deal but would be sweet if they fixed it up eventually

If you have the Google play store then the twitter app from there allows gifs and vines

Yeah I use Twitter a lot and find it so annoying about the gifs. In browser it works perfectly fine - so definitely not an issue with the phone, it's the Twitter app itself.

I never used to have a problem with the Twitter app until I got my iPad. It is SO fluid, refreshing takes about 1 second and it's so seamless. Where as the BlackBerry Twitter app, even though it's native, is not quite seamless. I don't mean in terms of response to touch, I mean opening your messages or refreshing your feed, the loading times are a killer. Was the same on my Z10 and now my Passport.
