If your library carries ebooks then your already familiar with the Overdrive software. If you go to their home page, they have a free e-reader They send out an email saying that they've already ported it over to work with the new blackberry phones (Z10 &Q10)
"OMC does work on the Q10. Be sure to download the Q10/Playbook version of the app at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/80929/."

It not the best e-reader around. But it's good enough and its free.
Plus- ebooks that are DRM'd doesn't always work on other readers. You may have no choice but to read the book using their software.

I'm confused...this seems like the same Overdrive eReader for library books that has been available for awhile now....last year on the Playbook and about 2 months ago on the Z10.

That may be. I asked when we could expect a version that works on the Q10. They said use the Playbook version and your good to go. I've been getting the "not yet" answer from other developers.

As you probably have found out Overdrive has been removed from BB appworld. I tried the android version and it constantly crashed when I tried to enter settings.

Aldiko Book Reader works just fine on my Z30. It's an Android app that gets 4.5 rating on Google Play.
