I tested this app for the dev and gave him my input he just came out with this update a month ago.


I think the screen recorder I used "Penzus Screen Recorder" didn't work correctly.
EDIT: i tried again and I guess the screen recorder only works for 10-14seconds in

It is a good app, works good, great layout. Native and seems the dev is willing to hear suggestions, etc.

I don't like the app icon.
It has no active frame options.
It's slow at times to pull things considering I tested it against android version through Snap.
No hub and headless

Headless and HUB will need to go together in this app as Flickr doesn't have push notifications API available. So to have notifications show up in HUB (either in its own section or through the generic bell section) , you'll need to have the app run to have the app "pull" the notifications ever so often.

I would like to see likes and comments on my photos and notifications when someone I am friends with uploads a photo.

Hello guys,

thank you khehl for intoducing this app on this awesome thread

i managed to push the update for Flowr, it has invoke receiver so you can share your photo from image gallery or even invoke it from your own apps. you can also save, share, or set as wallpaper, etc if the owner of the photos is allow you to do it. Actually i just read the canblog and candownload property from Flickr API. I don't want to break the privacy of the photos owner cause it's not BlackBerry now the app using database to hold the last user browsed data, so they won't have to wait the app to load all the photos, it will shows the last users browsed.

speaking of HUB and push notification, yes i aware its very important and essential for every BlackBerry apps. yes flickr doesn't provide API for the push and even they didn't share the API for following or unfollowing. But i'll try my best to make the app tells users "hei there are new activity for you".

the next iteration will be the dynamic frame, HUB, and photo sync.

Great to see you're here now. I bought it too after the presentation here. Please, change the Icon

What i really want to see is the ability to see the Pictures "Info" Screen, where it says the used camera and lens with aperture, shutter speed etc... I love to analyze pictures to see how i can improve my photography and i miss that really a lot.

BTW if you need help with the icon, i would love to help you
