First app purchase..

Wondered how long it would be before I actually decide to pay for my first app.. and it happened today with Weather+ HD Pro from XLabz..

Very pretty.. I seem to have a habit of getting a lot of weather apps.. I think I had this on my 9800 and you used to be able to set the weather on the home screen / lock screen.. sadly on this you can't but its a nice app. £1.50

Would appear to be an Android port as the pull down configuration options are not there.. shame.. still waiting for a really good app written specifically with the interface in mind

Still, its one of the apps crossed off my list before the iPhone doesn't get carried as my primary device

My first purchase was a weather app too. BeWeather.
Love the app, always have done and the 4 is worth it

I can't purchase anything yet because I can't get past paypal errors. There are a few apps I would like to buy but I will wait until they resolve those issues. How is everyone else paying for apps? Credit Card? Carrier Billing? or has paypal worked for you?

I've bought "Podcasts". Carrier billing ... very convenient!

App not as good as the old BB Podcasts on my 9900 though :-(

Do you have extra security enabled on your PayPal? Ie it sends you a code before payment?

I did .. So PayPal doesn't work for me but it doesn't work on iPhone either as PayPal doesn't seem to handle mobile payments when you turn that on

I changed to debit card

Creditcard, killed off my paypal account due to them having so many problems.

Oh, I forgot about that one, I found that it had major issues for me with it taking up ever increasing amounts of space regardless of me reducing the amount of eps to keep setting and now I have switched to using the podcast support in nobex which is limited but what is there works well.
