I can't speak for them but when I search BBWorld, I do not see Files and folders for my Z10. Was it offered and withdrawn?

It is an app built on adobe air which is no longer supported on 10.3.1. So it will no longer show up for you if that's what you're on.

That's interesting. I looked up THEIR NAME and only came up with 2 or 3 apps and not Files/Folders!!!! Oh, I wonder if it might depend on the OS installed???? I'm using a 10.3.1.xxxx leak.

That must definitely be the reason, as I am still using on my Z10 100-STL2 OS10.2.1.3062

I haven't been able to get any of the leaked upgrades as my understanding is I would need my PC to possibly sideload this upgrade, which I haven't got right now.

I did get an understanding that there would be an OTA release for the Z10 100-STL2 but being my carrier/provider is 3UK and they have decided not to do business with BlackBerry any longer, would that mean 10.3.1 would no longer be available for me if my carrier/provider has no future dealings with my preferred device, or are they obliged to send any updates/upgrades due.

I can't say for sure. It depends on the carrier.

Worst case scenario is that you get to a PC and load up another carrier's official 10.3.1 software and install it on your phone. Just wait a few more weeks and see what develops.

I got started on Files and Folders when I used my Playbook. Was a fantastic app. I loaded it on my Z10, but gravitated to PlayCloud. Wish they would upgrade it.

I have just written to bb.support@innovatology on facebook and I will soon be seeking out the owners of this application on Twitter.

I have observed that the last time someone received a reply back from innovatology, seems to be back in the year 2013, both here and on facebook.

I had no intention of contacting them on Facebook but it seems my hands were forced as a paying customers for their applications on both of my devices.

It is not enough that the claim of support particularly for a paying customers is advertised and not met, regardless of whether the reason may be based on prejudice, if that be the case.

At worse, if the owner has passed away and is no longer with us, then your customers should know privately and personally at the very least and the common understanding should be met by the purchaser.

I am angry that such an excellent application in not appreciated by its owner as it is by its buyers.

I am trying my very best to keep my feelings in close quarters.

I look forward to their reply.

The developer would have to either completely rebuild the app from scratch, or modify and port the existing Air app to an Android app.

What function do you need that is not available in the native File Manager, or with PlayCloud?

The app was probably pulled because everyone will be updated in a few weeks to 10.3.1 anyway.

Edit: I still see it as available on both PlayBook and bb10 with 10.2.1.

There are hundreds of developers in BBW that are no longer updating or supporting their old apps. It's the same on every platform. How would you expect them to keep track of the thousands of developers?

This is not a big deal. A couple of bucks. Who cares?

My kids could do without, if I have any.

All I would like him/her to say is that, they are no longer supporting blackberry, just like my service provider/carrier told me when I, "Wait For It"

And to add, if they are still not been reimbursed for their efforts, is that the reason why their application is still being sold in black BB10 and PlayBook BB World Apps.

I have just deleted both my Z10 100-STL2 and PlayBook Files & Folders app, and paid for the PlayCloud you proposed on both my phone and PlayBook.
None of them connecting to my hotmail account as I wished, like Files & Folders did on both devices.

PlayCloud has been in a state of connecting for over an hour now, and am leaving it connecting till I wake up in the morning UK time.

And you said, there are thousands of BlackBerry Apps.

Sent Innovatology an email to ask why Files & Folders no longer working on my Passport now I have upgraded to 10.3.1 - Just had a response (less than 2 hours after I sent my email to them).

Hope this helps to clear up any confusion (I was confused!)

(At least Files & Folders still works on my PlayBook.....)

Unfortunately, as noted in the app description, Files & Folders can not be installed on 10.3.1 and newer. The reason for this is that BlackBerry decided to remove the AIR platform on which Files & Folder was built. We urged BlackBerry to reverse this decision, but they went ahead anyway. Many apps built for BB10 no longer work with 10.3.1. I hope you'll understand that we have no choice but to - reluctantly - discontinue support for the BB10 platform.

I would of thought Innovatology would of had email addresses or PIN for everyone who purchased their app and any other devs with apps that depend on Adobe Air and let their ppls know in a post to all button.
I don't mind having excess post concerning something I bought!!!
