I have had issues with the Facebook app on the Classic for months. Everytime I look at reviews--for months--people are pleading with BlackBerry to fix the same problems, but they never do.

What's the problem? Has BlackBerry abandoned BB10?

No they didn't abandon bb10. But Facebook is not a priority anymore for them. I'm sure someday it will be fixed but they got rid of so many people who knows when they will get to it. My suggestion is go to the mobile site and than save it to your home screen. That update will at least get u by and it even has a icon like the app. I run both bb10 so I get notifications and the mobile site for almost everything else.

Yes. They have abandoned. I doubt there are many programmers working on anything related to BB10 anymore. Don't expect any fixes to anything that isn't the core OS and security.

It sure looks like the rumors are true about them basically stopping everything on BB10 OS and focusing on crummy android.

The reason I say that is you should see how furious people are when they are leaving their poor reviews. It has gone on for at least six months. BlackBerry never even responds to them.

It sure sucks because BB10 is the best in my opinion. I had android for two years and was so happy when the Q10 was released and immediately assimilated to BB10.

This is for FB Lite, ANOTHER android port. Blackberry needs to get over their collective, lazy asses and update the native app ASAP...ALL android ports SUCK

Time to accept that BB10 is in maintenance and phase-out mode. You'll have to make do with less than ideal work-arounds. Or you could move on to another platform. BlackBerry already has.

I'm only trying to provide a solution... if it bothers you that much then there's a magical website called amazon that you could purchase and Android or IOS device from!
