Found a bug.

I tried to comment on my page from face10 and it went to the bottom, but when I checked on the browser, my comment was at the top instead of being on the bottom like it should be.

This depends on what sorting order you've set. Latest / Oldest. Fb desktop has their own sort order too like Top Comments that face10 doesn't support yet due to api limitations

Here's mine. I'm always on WiFi so here's my WiFi usage.

I think the difference is that the original Facebook app optimize the image being downloaded by shrinking / lowering the image file size. You'll see the difference in image display speed. The original Facebook app displays the images on the newsfeed much much faster than Face10.

This is because Face10 downloads the original image file without any image optimization. You can see it on video thumbnails too.

Bro Nemory my concern about ur app as of now...


1. Sana just like fb app sana pag connect namen via notification (hub)is diretcho app na kasi this time ayaw na e

2. Sana pag view ng Group kita ung pins
3. Sana pagclick mo nung notif mo diretcho agad dun sa post mo or thread if hundreds ang msg hirap gamitin e
4. Privacy. Sana just like old FB naka customized din ung app kasi ako andame nakablock saken from viewing my post (around 38) though friend ko sa fb.right now I cant post gamit face 10 due to privacy concern..
5. Mejo mabagal pag magloload ka ng feeds
6. Lakas kumaen ng data.. considering na hindi ko halos ginagamit ung app mo sa ngaun see photo attached below.. Nag DL ako ng feb 4 at 11:57 Local time naten right now its sat almost 10am

Hope ma address mo to asap felt uneasy na gamitin kasi app mo so right now nagtyatyaga ako sa browser ulet.. Majority ok naman kaso ung privacy pinaka ininda ko

D ko magets anong from hub dretcho sa app? Gusto mo pag click ng notification e oopen ung app talaga hindi na nasa hub lang as a card? Sorry pero 100% sure nd magugustuhan ng lahat to. Gusto nla hub integration na pag open mo is via card lang, just like normal hub items ganun talaga behavior at d ko mababago.

Ano ung group pins? Pinned posts ba?

Deep linking notification yan pa gagawin ko pra pg click ng comment dretcho sa comment. Mentioned na dito.

Custom privacy parating.

Depende sa connection ung loading ng feeds, ung images ba o yung pag load talaga ng bagong feeds? Face10 nag loload 100% high quality images

Pictures and videos not showing in the feed. Uninstalled. Reinstalled with all default settings, did not help. Stock FB client has no issues.

I purchased Pro to offer support for your hard work.
There are 2 useabilty issues I am hoping can be addressed.

1. When tapping on a notification of a new comment to a post, it takes you to the original post. You then have to open comments. It would help if at least the comments were already expanded, because that was the point of the notification.
2. When tapping on a notification of a new post in a joined GROUP, it takes you to the group, but not the post. You then have to find the post. Sometimes it's just a matter of scrolling a little, and sometimes it requires a click on "View more feeds". It starts to get time consuming when there are a lot of group post notifications coming in.

For those of us who have "auto delete cache" off? How do we manually clear the cache? I saw somewhere you mentioned that the auto clear cache was responsible for the high data usage since the app re-downloads every time it's opened.

It was actually suggested by another Crackberry user. There's the manual option on the right bottom side within the settings menu. In all honesty though, I didn't see much difference in my high data usage having this option off, as recent newsfeed would get loaded every time the app is opened.

Looking at some of the pictures posted on the last two pages, it seems only few have this issue.

From what I gather, Nemory is already looking into the problem. Let's hope he's able to figure out something (Thanks Oliver! )

I can't help thinking that if there was just one payment for Face10 and it would include messenger pro it would appeal to many more people. Don't get me wrong I know we all need to earn a living but I feel having to pay for Face 10 pro, messenger pro, stickers and God knows what else, it does come over as a bit 'strong'.
A lot of people are saying it has more functionality than the BlackBerry Facebook app, but that is not saying anything at all. When compared to the browser Facebook with all the functionality and free, it really is starting to look pricey.
The app is looking top notch and if the updates keep coming it will be the best FB app on any OS, but I do wonder if it may start to look a bit too much money for basically the bb10 feel and a few stickers.

Run Face10, keep BB10fb, but,,,,

Try this, on BB10fb, in Settings>Accounts>FaceBook turn off all these; find friends, enable not.s, sync mssg's, and sync events.

Then you can continue to use the, built into the HUB, fb Messenger, that runs off BB's fb App.

Nobody is forced to use or buy Face10. The app was developed by a one-man operation and he deserves to be compensated for his time and effort. Comparing the app to the browser Facebook is comparing apples and oranges. People are free to use the browser Facebook if that meets their needs. However, if a person wants to use Face10, it is only fair the developer be compensated.

Same thing with Messenger for FB. There may be some API limitations that prevent a full integration between both applications. I am sure Nemory will look into it. Again, $2.99 is the less than the price for a good cup of coffee; it is not too much to give the developer in order to use the app. Consider this: if he gave both apps away for free, how does he get compensated for his efforts?

Nemory. If I may make a suggestion. In order to deal with at least part of the data usage issue, you could have photos and videos load on the feed in lower resolution, then go to HD when the user decides to open it in a separate window. That would make the feed load quicker, and make the app not eat up as much data.
