I have a question for you all. Do you want to see the new iOS 7 design of the Facebook app come to BlackBerry 10?

Oh, it's just an updated version. Thought it was revamped or something, but still, definitely a huge improvement.

I am asking a question about a BlackBerry 10 app so I thought that the BlackBerry 10 Apps forum was the right place to post.

Secondly, I don't have the time and resources to develop a new Facebook app but if enough developers came forward it is theoretically possible to build an app that surpasses the current functionality of the app with Facebook's public APIs.

Just a slight redesign to fit with the new flat design language of the OS.

I isnt that much different than the android version really. Remember RIM builds the facebook, twitter, linked in, etc apps themselves. They could make the FB app better if they have the resources and have enough staff

I am using it on my iPod, I must say I love it. The options at the bottom make it easier for me to navigate.

As as developer I would be super excited if BlackBerry open sourced the app so that the community could help improve it.

i think twitter is developed by twitter themselves. if you look in bbw, the developer is listed as twitter. correct me if i'm wrong though.

As far as BB10, Blackberry only builds Facebook. Twitter and LinkedIn are done by those respective companies.

Enough staff.....then don't get rid of 40 % of the staff!! I love blackberry but some things are taking to long!

Agree completely, I think other devs can really improve the FB application, give it more of a BB10 swipe/flow, multiple-accounts access, making it even better than FriendCaster Pro and Atrium! Blackberry, for the sake of your 'prosumers', please open FB up to more creative devs!

Facebook for Windows phone is at this moment the best, you can tag people in comments in pictures, you can even post a picture in you're comment now since the last beta, it is a good example for BlackBerry for how Facebook should be!!!
