Looking for a defrag or memory boost App for the Z10 if any1 knows of one? I have searched BB World and have had no luck... just wondering if i missed anything.
My Z10 is working great and I have only rebooted once in 2 weeks.
I had an App for my 9900 that I believe realocated and defragmented the phone memory and it seemed to assist in limiting the rebooting or battery pulls on that phone.

As a general rule apps like that are to be avoided, not one person i know that uses their phone actively will use an app manager or RAM cleaner as they are usually just placebos or affect battery life horribly.

I believe that BlackBerry also rejects apps to BlackBerry World that use more resources than a certain threshold.

While I suspect on certain other OSes these sorts of apps are sometimes useful, I would say that on BB10 they have no value.

I agree with bmercer94. I'd probably call any such app on BB10 a simple scam, trying to use fear to part you from your money.

As of now I don't see the value of having one. Just like how solid state drives wouldn't require one.

I managed to get my hands on a Memory eater.bar for the PBOS for some reasons I still can't recall, if you want, I could PM it to you for side loading if you want something like that so bad. No guarantees it will work, though.

From AppWorld: "Taskmanager" from Hans-Peter Lehmann is cool. Clean basic look, and you can close all open apps running. Sometimes I see Apps open which are not on the quick access (desktop). Then I force them closed. Also shows the available Ram...

I actually disagree with people that are speaking out against memory cleaner applications. They clean memory that isn't supposed to be in use, thus stopping it from consuming battery and hogging performance resources.
