Hi #TeamCrackBerry, if you can buy an app developed in Cordova/Webworks (HTML5) or the same developed for Android and ported on BlackBerry10, which you choose?

I wouldn't buy an Android port. There's nothing wrong with android ports, but since it's an apk I can find it anywhere. A native app however shows the developers commitment to BlackBerry and deserves the support. Especially when it has some sort of try before you buy.

As a user, I prefer a Cordova app over an Android app, I've had bad experiences with Android apps in the past : memory use, heating (Skype), apps that you can't stop, hub notification (bell) always returning to unread state, intrusive permissions that you can't disable, apps that you find after installing that they don't even work on BlackBerry (might not apply to your case), etc.

On the other hand, Cordova apps sometimes feels less responsive than native apps or even Android apps, like if there's a lag when responding to touch events. But even with this lag, I prefer Cordova over Android apps.
