    I got an email today about their name change and within that they state their BlackBerry 10 app is coming soon

    App works terribly slowly for me. Stopped using it on my 9900 for the same reason. Was easier to go through the browser. Hopefully a native app will be a lot more efficient. Found it ridiculously slow to load data and always had to force refreshes.

    I'm pretty sure that they will make it a higher version than it is right now to prompt an upgrade. It will of course have a name change too.

    It might not be as simple as a version number; that actually IS an interesting question. I would hope that BB World would give a developer the opportunity to prompt for an update even for a "lower" version number.

    Sorry, I still haven't seen anywhere that it says a native app is coming. The way I read that email is that the latest version of the Android app, with new name and logo, is coming soon to BlackBerry 10 (it's already out for Android). I'd love to be wrong, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
