CB 10 App

Hey there everyone

Just a short while ago our fearless leader posted that the new CB10 app is here for us. I made this thread so we can post our likes/dislikes and ideas for the app.

ill go first. So far I have only used the forum part to any length and im loving it. I might be mistaken but I have yet to see how to like or thank a post and I would love to see that on here.

The blog part from just playing around a little is going good. Let's help the CB team continue to dominate the BlackBerry world by giving then our ideas and opinion

It's so much quicker browsing the forums on your phone rather than on the desktop. I find I can contribute a lot more because it's much easier.

Hi just found that if you touch and hold the screen on a post then a different context menu slides out from the right. This has the thanks, quote, etc options.

As I've just used for your post.

Don't yet know how to edit a post of my own from the app. Hence having to post again.

I think putting it as "My Threads" is a little confusing because its not the threads you started but the threads your contributing to. I would also like to see a spot where you can see your new likes and thanks.

You could always 'hold post' then ' open on browser'. You stay in the app so it's easy to get back

Adding an option to view "subscribed threads" would be great.

And this must just be me... but I can't figure out how to reply or post at all from within the app! :/

It was posted in here how. You have to hold down over the post you want to reply/like/thank and pick it from the action menu

It's probably because you didn't log in or had an issue logging in like me. Try again if that was the case but close the app first.

Also, there's an issue when viewing comments in blogs.

You can update if you pull down from the top. However, new comments are loaded at the bottom so we have to scroll down. So new comments should be shown at the top of the screen.

I think that is my problem - I am not logged in. I can see my "account settings" but it looks like I am not really logged in, because I can't see any of "my threads" and I can't reply to posts

That happened to me. Log out and close the app then try again. It worked for me.

I'm loving the app

so much better than viewing the forum on the browser.

I can easily get my fix on the train too and from work now lol.

I just think updated comments should be at the top since it has the "pull down to refresh." It's logical.
