This may be a long shot, but wondering if anyone has found a way to get the Facebook app contacts to transfer off of FAcebook for BlackBerry App and onto the phones contacts list or onto the SIM card.

I know the stock OS has no way of doing this.

I know Android phones can do this, but it seems BlackBerry OS keeps social contacts brought in, completely separate from manually input contacts.

You can with a app.

IntouchApp.

With your phone contact app synced with Facebook do a backup with the IntouchApp
when that is completed turn off the Facebook app from syncing contacts
if you then tell the IntouchApp to sync again you should have the contacts stored locally on your phone.

If you then turn on the Facebook app back on you probably will have a load of duplicates. That's the downside.

Be warned intouch will mess up your contacts if you did not know how to use it. Make sure that you have made a backup. Especially when merging contacts. From different sources.
