Can someone confirm that BOX will only sync if the files (videos/pictures) are taken and stored on the device itself and not the media card.

I just want to confirm as it will only sync on my Z30 if that is how I have it set up.

My media card photos are getting backed up as well. At least the camera taken have been uploaded

Here on my Z10, it syncs all my stuff.

I have the camera set to save to the SD. All pics taken go to the SD can BOX uploads everything up.

Screenshots default to device memory (OS, hardcoded) and they too get uploaded.

BOX should follow whatever setting your device is using.

Thanks for your replies. Mine would only upload if it was stored on the device.

I have since taken out the media card, restarted the device, inserted the media card and then logged back into Box.

It will now upload if the pictures are stored on the media card.

I think it was mentioned in other Forums (or maybe the Box website) that Box syncs the pictures you take when those pictures are saved on the device. I thought this to be the default. I don't know what others are doing to access the SD card. Perhaps they can explain.

I have just done another test.

Picture taken and checked the properties to confirm that it is stored on the media card.

This then synced by Box to my online account.

I am running leak 10.2.1.1925 on my Z30.

I am fairly certain BOX respects the OS rules.

If pics are set to be saved to the SD, it will sync from there. Else, it will stick to internal memory.

There is no setting that sets sync off for SD.

I checked again and yes, it does sync. I guess it just took longer to do it, so I didn't see it happen.

I can not get BOX to sync with photos saved to my 64gb sd card on my Z30.
Box will sync just fine to photos saved to the Device, but when I set the camera to saved photos to the media card, BOX doesn't sync.

I've tried logging in and out of BOX, rebooting, and removing/reinserting the SD card. Nada!

I may switch back to my 32gb card and see if that makes a difference.

Thoughts?
